Fine November Weather

Published by Brad at 1:21 am under Forecast Discussion, Forecasts, General Thoughts

Another nice weekend is underway across the southeast.  A cold front that moved through earlier today is now well offshore and high pressure will continue to build in overnight and tomorrow.  This means we’ll see plenty of sunshine on Sunday with highs in the upper 60s.  Not much change to our weather over the next few days.  We’ll have dry, mild afternoons and clear, chilly nights as overnight lows dip down into the 40s.  Rain chances will be on the increase for the end of the week, while temperatures will remain seasonable with highs in the 70s.

Today is the final day for the Coastal Carolina Fair.  Hope everyone has gotten a chance to visit and enjoy the great food and entertainment.  It was a spectacular week of weather for the the fair this year.

Powerful hurricane Paloma continues to churn its way across central Cuba and will quickly weaken to a depression by this time Sunday.  Paloma peaked as a Category 4 hurricane earlier Saturday with winds up to 145 mph.  Hopefully this is the last named storm for the 2008 hurricane season.

Be back tomorrow with more.  Have a great Sunday !!
