Unsettled Weekend !!
Here we are in the last weekend of November. Hard to believe that Christmas is less than a month away. The weather looks to be rather unsettled this weekend. Currently on this Saturday morning, we’ve got mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers. Temperatures this afternoon won’t be too bad either as highs are expected to be near 60 degrees.
A stationary front will remain close to the Lowcountry through the rest of the weekend. This will provide the focus for numerous showers and possibly even a few thunderstorms. Depending upon the exact location of the front, this will make a big difference on the weather we see on Sunday. Right now it looks as though we’ll see mainly a cloudy Sunday, but a few peeks of sunshine can’t be ruled out, especially if the front moves a little further north. We’ll see on & off showers throughout the day, and possibly even a few thunderstorms during the afternoon. Highs on Sunday will be in the low to mid 60s. Cooler, drier air will begin to move into the area on Monday. We’ll see partly sunny skies to start the work week with highs only in the 50s.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and don’t forget to check out Live 5 News this evening at 7 PM for the latest on the forecast and of course all the college football scores from today’s action. Have a great Sunday !!
