December starting Chilly!

Published by Bill at 10:18 pm under General Thoughts

Well, here we are looking at the month of December and already starting with cold overnight lows in the 20’s.  A few snow flakes were seen in some of our southern counties during Tuesday morning, but was quick to end.  Wednesday through Friday looks pretty nice with just a slight chance of a shower on Friday as another cold front moves east.

In other news….

Heading to Lambs Elementary School in North Charleston on Wednesday to read to the students a special edition of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”  This edition is for military families where a parent is deployed for the holidays.  We will try to bring you some of the pictures of the kids on our Wednesday broadcast.  I’m always thrilled to help families who have military members deployed during this time of the year.

We’ll be out and about a many of the holiday parades in the Live 5 Storm Tracker; so keep an eye out for it as we move through the next few weeks.

Also don’t forget to grab a toy for Debi’s Kids, Angel Tree.  Any new, unwrapped toy is needed and you can drop them here at the station or any Walmart in the big boxes.

Have a great midweek and stay warm in the mornings.  We’ll be looking for you on tonight’s evening broadcasts then back here before you go to bed for a live update at 11.

Bill
